WARNING: make sure you DO DISCONNECT previous telecom's wire (in Step 2)
before plug Cell2Jack to wall phone socket otherwise, Cell2Jack will be DAMAGED.
Step 1: Setup Cell2Jack to one home phone first:
Connect one home phone to Cell2Jack directly. Make sure setup (pairing) and connection OK.
Check "make and receive call functions" is OK before proceed to next step.
Step 2: Disconnect the telephone company's phone line from connecting with
your house phone lines at the Network interface box (NID):
The NID is usually 6" x 9" gray box attached to the outside wall of your home
(usually close the cable TV box and power)
Step 3: Connect Cell2Jack to an unused wall phone socket:
All home phones connected to wall phone socket should be ready to use
(connected to Cell2Jack).
Note:
If you are not sure your wall phone sockets are disconnected from the old service and NOT connect to any equipment,
please don't use it.
We have no control what is behind your wall phone sockets and have no guarantee your wall phone socket can be used.
